Shamanic Dance shamanic dance journey at Shaman Dome. Lydia is a certified Dancing Freedom facilitator and will be offering these journeys throughout the playa this year. Dancing Freedom is a somatic, ecstatic and shamanic dance practice supporting the emergence of living oneness and what it truly means to be embodied. It is fun, and empowering. Any person of any age, size, color or creed can do it. We explore the ways in which the 5 elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether may assist us in creating a deeper relationship to our Selves, others, and our environment. By having an experiential understanding of how these elements work within us, we gain tools that help us to move through life and all of its lessons in a more centered and conscious manner. When we come together we come in peace to create a deep space of shared practice, transformation and community. All one needs is the desire for health, vitality, happiness and a deeper connection to self and others. This is a free form movement practice that is safe for all abilities. It is a friendly entry point into movement as medicine and it’s a powerful addition to an existing yoga, meditation or healing practice.
